Three different Hawaii statehood anniversaries
The 7-cent statehood airmail stamp was issued August 21, 1959, the day Hawaii’s admission was formally proclaimed. A 20-cent silver-jubilee issue followed in 1984 and a 44-cent 50th-anniversary issue in 2009; treating the three as one undated design would erase the distinction needed for identification.

Hawaiian Missionaries: reproduction and original are not the same
The 2002 Hawaiian Missionaries souvenir sheet reproduces examples of Hawaii’s early stamps. It belongs in this postal-history index, but it is not one of the original nineteenth-century Missionary stamps. That distinction matters for identity, condition and value discussions.
Why the USS Arizona Memorial belongs in Hawaii
The memorial issue is tied to Pearl Harbor, so its subject is Hawaiian even though the ship carries another state’s name. This subject-first rule also keeps tourist seals, passport souvenirs and non-postal island artwork out of the list.
