A verified monster issue
USPS released Message Monsters on September 24, 2021, in a pane of 20 with four Forever monster designs by Elise Gravel. Included decorative stickers do not add postage value.
Mailing use
A genuine unused ordinary Forever stamp covers a qualifying one-ounce domestic letter. Extra weight, shape or another mail class changes the requirement.
Choosing a design
Match the issue name and year rather than relying on a seller’s broad ‘Halloween’ label. Character, monster and seasonal products can have different formats and service values.
Current buying check
Verify seller, quantity, live price, stock and returns. The July 2026 rate change has already taken effect and is not a future deadline.

USPS’s 2026 program did not list a dedicated new Halloween issue as of September 13, 2026. Therefore, “for 2026” means designs a sender can use in 2026, not designs first issued that year. Any current seller listing still needs a same-day stock, price, quantity and return check.
