An eBay completed listing records a pane of 20 Scott #4730 Apples stamps sold for $29.95 on April 9, 2026. The listing described it as mint, self-adhesive, never hinged, seller-graded VF and uncertified; the pane’s original face value was $6.60. This is one seller-described sample, not a universal price for a single stamp, another format or another condition.
Consider professional expertizing when the purchase is financially significant, the design has lower-value look-alikes or known forgeries/reprints, a claimed error or unusual cancel changes value, or gum, paper, watermark or hidden repair cannot be resolved from the item’s history. A routine modern low-value pane does not need certification merely because it appears in a value guide.
